Isothermal Atmosphere: Taking Hydrostatic Eq. and Gas Law

If the atmosphere is assumed isothermal (constant temperature) then this is easily integrated to give an equation for pressure as a function of height:

Isothermal refers to an area where temperature is constant with height.
